Abortion became an unpunishable crime in 1975. Since that time, abortion has been introduced in all hospitals, except in 3 counties, Tyrol being one of them.
How and where vigils began
After a lot of political lobbying towards advocating access to abortion in Tyrol, the prolife movement realized this is the best time to start a prayer vigil, and to continue outreach doing activism.
