During her dental appointment, a pregnant girl received anesthesia, then she felt sick and went to Profamilia for an Ultrasound, where they told her that she had to have an abortion due to the anesthesia she had received. The girl went home and her mother realized that her daughter was pregnant and ill. She took her to the church where she met the 40DFL volunteers, who spoke with the mother and daughter and offered a real solution for the girl sickness. Now the girl is fine and expecting a baby girl who has a name!

A young woman called our Koprivnica leader when she found out that she was pregnant with twins. She took an abortion pill for the day after but, thanks to God, it didn't work. After she told her partner that she was pregnant, he pressured her to abort. But on the first ultrasound she saw not one baby, but two! That's when she asked 40 Days for Life in Koprivnica for help, because her partner pushed her even more to abortion. She received help, found out that she is not alone and chose life.

A woman called a nurse at the hospital in front of which 40 Days for Life prays.
That woman found out that one acquaintance was going to have an abortion. It was her sixth child. The nurse gave to the woman the number from our campaign banner at our vigil place. The pregnant woman called, we offered help, and scheduled a meeting before the time of abortion. She didn't show up. But she didn't show up at the abortion appointment either. She called us later that day and said that she would accept all help that we were offering and that she is keeping her baby.

At the abortion center a young woman got the pills and they made her sign a consent form. She hesitates and makes an appointment with a priest who, upon learning the situation, called the 40DFL volunteers so that they can talk. After the meeting they followed up the girl by telephone, she agreed to go to the women's help center and chose life.

Relatives and doctors recommend abortion as the only solution to a sick girl in crisis whose partner has abandonned her. A friend of hers tries to persuade her unsuccessfully, so she asks her sister who is a 40DFL volunteer for help. After a call with the volunteers and a lot of prayer, the girl chose life and is attended at the local pregnancy help center.

'Sandra' told volunteers she had prayed the night before for a sign. She got 2 signs! She received a leaflet from the 40 Days for Life vigil, the abortion provider took the leaflet away from her. She got another leaflet from the prayer volunteers on the way out and is getting help.
'Valerie' stopped her car saying she was pregnant and needed help. She took a leaflet and accepted help.
On the way to the ealing vigil after praying 3 decades at 40 days for life vigil, Rod met a young women 'Selina' who said a women she knew was going for an abortion a few days ago at Ealing abortion centre who decided to keep her baby. She said that the prayers at the vigil were really important, and asked volunteers to keep up the prayers.
2 other families stopped to tell the vigils they are keeping their babies including a 4th baby.
Volunteers also spoke to post abortive, homeless, those suffering with addictions and those considering becoming Christian. Thanks be to God!

A 40DFL volunteer met a girl who wanted to abort her twins at the hospital. The volunteer offered a counseling call and the girl accepted. The team in Bogotá called her to offer help. After several days of follow-up, the girl chose life and was referred to the local pregnancy help center.

A volunteer took her to the women’s help center where the girl agreed to have an ultrasound. Days later she made the firm decision to enter the help program and continue with her pregnancy.

Two volunteers were praying when a boy approached with a baby and asked if abortion was legal. The volunteers said no and he got angry because his girlfriend was going to have an abortion. He did want the baby, but at the local health center they told him he couldn’t do anything, if the girl requested it, it was legal. The volunteers managed to speak with the girl and after several accompaniments and gestures of love and support she chose life.

At the 29th day of campaign a distress whatsapp message was sent from a father in Spain, asking for help to save his baby from abortion. The appointment was scheduled for the afternoon of that day in Guayaquil Ecuador. Mother Fidelis, the 40DFL Taiwan leader, forwarded the message in a chat group and the 40DFL Argentina leader got the number of the distressed father and asked for support to 40DFL Colombia. Prayers of three continents went on and the Colombian team called the mother in crisis. Support from 40DFL Ecuador was provided. Nothing is impossible for God. The mother said yes to life.

A woman was about to go to her abortion appointment when she saw the volunteers praying and stopped by to tell them that her son had a malformation. They managed to keep her from going to her appointment and followed up by phone. After the talk, the girl chose life.

A girl was arriving at the abortion center when a volunteer gave her a brochure and asked her to read it before entering, the girl took the brochure but went in. It didn’t take long before the volunteer saw the girl leaving and noticed that she was reading the brochure. So she reached out and asked her if she had the abortion and the girl told her “No, I have changed my mind” and she was going to tell her partner. The volunteer told her that she had made the best decision of her life and that her baby would bring her a lot of joy. Praise the Lord!

A minor went to the hospital to request an abortion outside the legal time (11 weeks) alleging depression, when a 40DFL volunteer spoke to her and offered assistance from a pro-life doctor. The girl accepted and the doctor resolved all her concerns. Then the girl happily decided to have her baby!

At the beginning of the campaign, one of the volunteers learned from a mutual friend, that a girl was planning to have an abortion. This volunteer contacted her with no positive answer. Prayer was reinforced and while the girl was at the abortion center waiting for her turn to have the procedure, she received a message about prenatal control exams. She noticed that there was enough time as she was still waiting to get in, so she decides to do them and the miracle happens, she chose life.

The campaign leader of 40DFL in Cali got a phone call from somebody who said that she had obtained his contact through a volunteer at the vigil site. She was calling because her co-worker wanted to have an abortion and she had convinced her to talk to the volunteers. After the telephone counseling, the girl finally joyfully accepted her baby!

A guy had a terrible accident. He might end invalid. His wife was pregnant and after dehydration ended up at the hospital. She fell in a crisis and told the chaplain of the hospital that she was considering abortion. The chaplain remembered the guy leading the 40DFL campaign in front of that hospital and asked him for help. He contacted the pregnancy help center and together spoke with the woman. After feeling their support she felt relief and chose life.

A girl went into crisis when her family, upon finding out about her pregnancy, did not want to support her. The girl sought help in the church, but when the faithful saw that despite their words, the fear in the girl was growing, they contacted a 40DFL volunteer that managed to calm the young woman and thank God she now has no doubts and is sure to defend the life of her baby.

A mother arrived with her daughter at the abortion center and a volunteer approached to hand out a brochure. The girl did not want to receive anything and rushed in while her mother stayed with the volunteers. She told them that she didn't agree but her daughter didn't want to be a mother. The volunteer told her that she was already a mother. The difference would be being a mother of a dead or an alive child, so the mother rushed in and came out shortly after with her daughter, thanking the volunteers.

A volunteer approached her and spoke to her about God's blessings, then she offered help and an ultrasound. The lady accepted and was referred to the women's help center. A woman calls her friend who she knows is a 40 DFL volunteer, in order to help an abortion minded girl. The volunteer calls but the girl doesn't want to accept her baby, nor an adoption option. Finally, the volunteer offers her support through the pregnancy help center and then the girl chooses life.

A girl listens to an advertisement about the 40DFL campaign on the radio and calls the contact number to ask for help for her friend who wanted to have an abortion. With her help, the volunteers contacted the young mother who accepted an ultrasound and after seeing her baby she chose life.
A family found out that their girl had an abortion appointment. One of them had listened to an ad on the radio about 40DFL campaign. So he called the contact number. Volunteers and family, they all offered their support to the young mom, who calmed down and chose life.

The parents driving in to the hospital saw the sign ‘Pregnant we can help you’ decided at that moment that this baby was to live. Hallelujah. A Muslim gentleman greeted us soon after it - to tell us his friend and his wife had changed their minds at the last minute on seeing the hand held sign.

A man approached one of the volunteers who was holding a banner with a photo of a baby dressed as a Pope. He told her that his 16-year-old granddaughter was going to abort her 4-month-old baby, but when she saw that banner, she reflected on her son’s future and at the abortion center she regretted and canceled her appointment. The staff tried to persuade her, but she stood firm, thanks to God and the volunteers.

During the last vigil, through a volunteer's friend, the volunteers learned about a girl who wanted to have an abortion due to rape. They contacted the girl's mother to offer alternatives but she did not accept. There were several more attempts but the only thing that the mother told them was "pray for us". One day she stopped answering. This week the mother finally responded thanking them for their prayers because now her daughter is seven months pregnant and she is happy with her baby, which is a girl!

A teenage girl of sixteen years was reported by another teenager in a high school where we went to speak on chastity, that she is pregnant and was contemplating abortion. The leader found out that the girl is living with her mother who did not even know that she was pregnant. She was able to convince both mother and daughter that the baby should not be aborted and volunteers will take care until she has the baby. The mother agreed but said she will not want the girl to stay with her because of shame. We made arrangement for a temporary accommodation with one of our university students who is also a member of campaign team pending when we can get somewhere for her. We also got her registered for antenatal care in a hospital. We pray good health for the girl and her unborn baby and that it will end in praise

The next day she would face many difficult situations and she thought that the best solution was to end her life, but thank God, there was a person who listened to her and advised her in the 40 days for life vigil site. Now the girl is very grateful, and we continue in communication with her. God allowed us to save another life.

A woman stop by to tell the 40DFL volunteers that her husband was hospitalized and she was visiting him when she saw them praying and felt the desire to join in the prayer. She then went to work and told her coworker what happened at the hospital and she replied “you know I'm pregnant and I wanted to have an abortion, but now I'm not going to do it." It is a baby girl that is now growing! Praise God!

A young couple approached the abortion clinic with the attitude of waiting for their appointment time.
They stood very close to the people who were praying at 40 Days for Life. When they saw the situation, they began to pray expressly for them, and immediately saw that she began to cry.
They remained thoughtful for a while and after several exchanges of glances between the young couple, they decided to leave there. Once they were away from the abortion clinic, one of the volunteers approached them to offer help and tell them that they had done well. And they seemed very relieved. "One thing I really liked is that when I gave them her help booklet, he was also crying while holding onto it," he tells us excitedly.

A family were waiting at the hospital for her mom healing, they noticed that there were people praying and they approached to talk, their mother was very sick and personnel offered them “another option, you know” they said. “So she will stop suffering”. The volunteers explained the value of life also before dying, but the family hesitated, so the volunteers invited them to take a prayer shift. Anyway they had to be there for the following days or weeks. The family accepted.
One day, during the prayer shift, the priest arrived with the Holy eucharist for adoration. Everyone prayed with fervor. Ever since that day everything changed. The mother of the family received a medical discharge and together they returned to their hometown.

A campaign volunteer from General Ramirez Argentina spent her vacation in Colombia. Her sister told her about a girl who wanted an abortion. The volunteer called to her peers in Argentina who spoke to the girl. As she lives in Colombia, they put her in contact with Ruby, who is in charge of sidewalk consulting in Latin America. After a few calls and support by the Foundation, the girl chose life.

A volunteer gave information about the women's pregnancy center to a girl who was going to enter the abortion center. She returned to the vigil point to continue her prayers. When she finished, she went to her car and saw the same girl sitting on the sidewalk. The volunteer asked her if she could sit down to talk. The girl accepted and said that she was 13 weeks pregnant. Her boyfriend arranged the abortion appointment for her but she does want the baby. The volunteer encouraged her to continue with her pregnancy, then the girl calmed down. She didn't show up to her appointment. Instead, she went to work with the determination to have her baby.

We think that this woman, who took a leaflet on route to Stopes, had the leaflet taken off her but they couldn’t find any signs of a baby on her scan. She took another leaflet from us when she came out. She refused any further tests Praise God!

The campaign leader Luisa was wearing the 40 days for life t-shirt at the cemetery to visit her father. A girl saw her and approached her to tell her precisely that she is expecting her first child, but she has a lot of pressure from her mother to abort.
Her husband does not want the baby either and the young woman does not know what to do. Luisa invited the young woman to pray. After five days, the young woman is no longer afraid, she decided not to return to her mother so as not to receive more pressure, and defended the baby with her husband. Her husband accepted the pregnancy and Luisa will continue to support her.

During the 40 Days for Life 365 activities in Valladolid on Friday, February 9, just 5 days before the start of Lent, a prayer participant saw three young women approaching the abortion clinic.
Two of them went inside, while one stayed outside. Surprised and intrigued by the signs, the girl approached the prayer participant and told them that one of her friends was pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.
The two young women who had entered the clinic came out and saw their friend talking to the prayer participant. The non-pregnant friend crossed over and joined the conversation, where they were offered help and exchanged contact numbers. The pregnant woman decided not to go inside.
Providentially, on the same day, the prayer participant encountered the three young women again on Calle Santiago in Valladolid, and a more relaxed conversation ensued.
The three women are unemployed, do not have residency permits in Spain, and the pregnant woman of 7 weeks mentioned the pressure she was facing from the baby's father to have an abortion.
They were quickly put in touch with a volunteer from Red Madre who is also a volunteer with 40 Days for Life, and this Wednesday, on the eighth day of Lent campaign, the young mother decided to continue with her pregnancy.

The volunteer’s son told her that before doing it, she should listen to someone else. The girl accepted and the boy took her to the 40 DXLV campaign. After 3 days she agreed to continue with her pregnancy. She was given two kits for her babies and other aids.

The mother convinced her to stop by with them. Then the volunteers offered support and a free ultrasound. When she saw her baby, she realized that she was already 4 months pregnant. At that moment she chose life.
