Perugia, Italy, led an impressive first-time campaign
Tuesday, 29 April, 2025 • Italy • Perugia
Volunteers in Perugia, Italy, have led an impressive first-time campaign and continue to pray for the end of abortion in Italy and worldwide. They are keen to continue praying in the Autumn.
The city of Perugia has leftist forces particularly hostile to the pro-life movement. Volunteers are praying right next to a statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary holding Saint John Paul II. The place is strategically located right next to the entrance of the hospital, with a huge parking lot and right in front of the windows where abortions are performed.
They have already kept a low profile, avoiding journalists, but know conflict is inevitable in the public and political sphere eventually, and have encountered two women considering abortion. The Bishop has encouraged them to go forward.
