Philippines campaign is a stunning first time effort!

Wednesday, 26 March, 2025 • Philippines •

The Philippines are having a stunning first campaign. As the largest Christian country in Asia where abortion is still illegal, prayers are needed all the more for this Catholic country.

Early in the campaign, the group started with Holy Mass offered for the fruits of 40 Days for Life, with a beautiful homily about suffering after abortion. Two sisters shared about the importance of fasting, making sacrifices, and how to take action concretely. After the talks, there were 8 hours of adoration praying for children at risk of abortion and vulnerable women and families. Most people stayed for the entire eight hours straight.

The group also contacted schools with a message that life begins at conception. At a talk with high schoolers, they spoke only with a group of girls promoting 40 Days for Life, then they found out there were two pregnant girls, and everyone committed to praying. On the 18th March, one of the sisters gave a talk at a school, explaining the 40 days for life, the intrinsic dignity of human life from the moment of conception, the importance of prayer for vulnerable women with an unplanned pregnancy, and the support that can be given to them, and we ended with a prayer.

On the 14th of March, outside and near a famous Catholic Church called Quiapo, herbals are sold for abortion. The group did outreach and prayed the chaplet of Divine Mercy for children at risk of abortion and vulnerable mothers.

The group also had a walk for life with the Knights of Columbus. The group prayed for the fruits of 40 Days for Life.
